Entrepreneurial education is critical for our 21st century economic success. It’s imperative that we do not just prepare students to take jobs, but to create jobs.
Through entrepreneurship education, young people learn: organizational, time management and interpersonal skills, critical-thinking, financial literacy and leadership development, all of which are highly transferable.
Entrepreneurship education is about developing a competence that helps students throughout their life, enabling them to bring to the workplace skills to innovate and make a positive difference. As entrepreneurship is the individual’s ability to translate ideas into action, it encompasses creativity, innovativeness and risk-taking, and an ability to plan and achieve goals.
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy encourages our students to think creatively and be responsible, enterprising individuals who become entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial thinkers by immersing them in real life learning experiences where they can take risks, manage the results, and learn from the outcomes.
